1/20: 287 words. Hopefully, I’ll have time to write more later today. We’ll see. Today’s internet research topics included “borders of ancient Greece” (which I know isn’t well-defined because of how fluid that situation was over a period of centuries) and “volcanoes of the Mediterranean”. I never know where my fiction-related queries are going to take me.
Update: Got in another 447 words today. I’ll close out the chapter I’m working on tomorrow and start a new one. After that, I’m walking into the void … figuratively. The know what happens at the mid-point of the book, but I don’t know exactly how we’re going to get there.
