4/12: 461 words. Of those, 396 words were on Forging Bonds. I was determined to hitch my train back to that wagon and finish the novel. And I was making good progress this morning … until the 7YO did something to his Minecraft game that he didn’t know how to undo. Of course, I didn’t know how to undo it either, so it ended up requiring about 20 minutes of my time and I never did figure out how to resolve it. Suffice it to say, that derailed the rest of my writing time.
I forgot to mention that on Sunday, I went over 50,000 words for the year. That puts me more on pace for over 180,000 words, as opposed to the 100,000 that I’m shooting for. So that feels nice. The number will level out some when I finish the first draft of this novel and get into the editing of it. I also have another project that I’m editing for someone else, so that will require a couple of weeks as well.
