Small Bump, Big Bump

1/24: 828 words. When I started writing the second chapter in Act II of Forging Bonds, I thought I knew how it would go. It felt like a chapter that would be divided into two parts, involving the same three characters. But then the first part kept expanding until it became chapter length. Hopefully, the second half (now a separate chapter) will have the same good fortune.
