12/13: I finished the first round edits in Vulcan Rising. And just in time too, because my pen was running out of red ink. If all goes well, I’ll start incorporating the changes into the manuscript this afternoon.
I see this as a second round of edits because, I almost never incorporate the changes from the first round as I’ve written them by hand.
As for the editing, there is only one chapter that I noted, “Rewrite this entire chapter” across the top of the page. And I knew going in that one had problems. Now, it’s just a matter of finding the solution.
