1/18: 823 words. When I started writing Forging Bonds, I had planned for Act I to end much differently than how it turned out. This has basically been the story of my novel-writing so far. I have a plan, and along the way, the plan changes because events unfold differently than expected. It certainly keeps things interesting and forces me to be flexible.
Oh, and I tested positive for COVID last night. So that’s fun. But I’m vaccinated and boosted, so I’m more concerned about the hassle and inconvenience than about ending up in the hospital or a casket. And that’s not nothing.
